Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Mister Bible ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Description of the Service
Mister Bible is a biblical trivia and minigames application for educational and entertainment purposes. The app offers two game modes (Career Mode and Race Mode) and allows users to test their knowledge of the Bible by book and chapter.
2. User Accounts
You may use the app anonymously or sign in with a third-party authentication provider (Google, Apple, Microsoft, or Facebook). Signing in allows you to identify your account. Cloud backup of your progress is available exclusively to Pro subscribers. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials.
A Pro account may only be actively used on one device at a time. If you sign in on a new device, the previous device will be signed out automatically. You will need to sign in again on that device to resume using it. This restriction exists to prevent account sharing and to ensure that only you have access to your account.
3. Subscriptions and Purchases
The app offers a Pro subscription that provides cloud backup of your progress. Subscriptions are processed and managed entirely through the respective app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and are subject to their terms and refund policies. The Pro subscription is tied to your app store account, not to the app itself.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
- You can only manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings. The app developer cannot cancel or refund subscriptions on your behalf.
- Progress restore from the cloud is limited to 5 times per day per account.
4. Voluntary Donations
The app provides a link to Ko-fi, a third-party platform, where users may make voluntary donations to support the developer. Donations are entirely optional and do not grant any additional features, content, or advantages within the app. Donations are processed by Ko-fi and are subject to Ko-fi's Terms of Service. Refund requests for donations must be directed to Ko-fi. The app developer is not responsible for transactions made through the Ko-fi platform.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or backend services.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Exploit bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantages.
- Redistribute or resell the app or its content.
6. Intellectual Property
The "Mister Bible" character, app logo, and original content are the property of the app developer. Some assets used in the app, including sound effects and fonts, are licensed under Creative Commons or open-source licenses as detailed in the app's Licenses section. Some images were generated using artificial intelligence tools. Biblical text referenced in the app is in the public domain.
7. Advertisements
The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the app, you consent to the display of ads. Advertisements may still be shown to Pro subscribers as part of optional features such as earning extra lives.
8. Availability and Updates
We strive to keep the app available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice. An internet connection is required to use the app.
9. Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. You may delete your account and data at any time through the app settings. When you delete your account, all progress data and account association are permanently removed from our cloud services. This action is irreversible.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable jurisdiction rules.
