This Privacy Policy describes how Mister Bible ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application, available on Android and iOS.
1. Data Collection
This app may use Third-Party Authentication (Google, Apple, Microsoft, or Facebook), as per your choice, only to provide secure access to your account. We access your email address and a unique identifier provided by the authentication provider to ensure only you can access your account.
User progress is stored locally on the device by default. Only users who subscribe to the Pro version will have their progress stored in our cloud database (Supabase).
You may also use the app anonymously without providing any personal information. Anonymous users have limited functionality (local-only progress).
2. Purpose of Data Collection
For Pro subscribers, we use your email to securely link your app progress to a cloud backup via Supabase, allowing you to recover your data on any device. No personal data beyond your email and authentication identifier is stored — only app progress data. We do not collect, sell, or use your personal information for marketing purposes.
2.1 League Leaderboard
Pro subscribers are automatically enrolled in a league leaderboard ranked by the number of stars acquired. The leaderboard displays your display name (the name associated with the account used to sign in) publicly to other Pro subscribers within the app. The leaderboard is updated once per day.
If your Pro subscription expires or is canceled, your entry is removed from the leaderboard and your display name is no longer visible to other users. Re-subscribing will restore your leaderboard entry.
By subscribing to Pro, you consent to having your display name shown publicly in the leaderboard. If you wish to change your display name, you may do so through your authentication provider's account settings (e.g., your Google account name).
3. Third-Party Services
The app integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

- Google AdMob — Advertising. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. Google Privacy Policy

- Ko-fi — Voluntary donation platform. If you choose to make a donation through Ko-fi, your transaction is handled entirely by Ko-fi and is subject to their privacy practices. We do not collect or store any payment information from Ko-fi donations. Ko-fi Privacy Policy
4. Data Storage and Retention
All user progress is stored locally on your device by default. Only Pro subscribers have their app progress backed up to the cloud via Supabase. No personal data is stored in the cloud beyond your email and authentication identifier — only app progress data.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers.
5. Advertising
The app displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers, and other technologies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your preferences and applicable regulations. You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.
6. Children's Privacy
Mister Bible is an educational app suitable for all ages. The app does not require or collect personal information to function — users can play entirely anonymously. The only scenario where personal data (email) is involved is when a user voluntarily signs in with a third-party provider. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time via the app settings.
- Opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
